If I had to Start My Blog Again
If i had to start my blog again, I would do the following:
1) Stick To One Domain Name
I start running hanneng.net from Jun-2003 with hand-coded HTML for personal website, later change to WordPress interface in mid 2004. And then move to hanneng.sg on Jan-2005 when SGNIC launched the .sg domain. During the transition, I lost quite a lot of visitors and searches referrers. I would have just continue using hanneng.net for personal blog.
2) Start AdSense Sooner
I joined AdSense in early 2004, but only start to insert AdSense code in Sept 2005. I would have insert AdSense code as soon as possible, so that could earn extra income sooner.

so you reckon that it is better to use sub-domain for different blogs?
for example, travel.hanneng.net, ebay.hanneng.net to increase search referrers?
