星和推出本地最快宽带网络

在亚洲各国电信公司正在积极的抢救被地震损坏的海底电缆的同时，新加坡星和（Starhub）今日正式推出本地最快的宽带网络服务，下载速度达到 100Mbps 。而用户从即日起就可以申请这项服务，收费每个月121.80新元。

在这之前，星和宽带网络的速度最高只能达到30Mbps。

Singapore will become the first country in the world to commercially launch 100Mbps residential broadband services nation-wide, as StarHub marks another milestone with its deployment of DOCSIS 3.0 technology.

“By making the 100Mbps capability available to all our MOL customers, it gives all our customers the chance to experience the benefits and potential of ultra-high broadband. Through our Velocity partnership programme we will continue to work closely with content partners locally and internationally to introduce more online services that will take full advantage of the speed,” said Thomas Ee, senior vice president, IP Services, StarHub.
